1. Visa & Entry Requirements for Papua New Guinea (PNG)

Visa Options for Travelers

Most visitors must obtain a visa before entering Papua New Guinea. There are several visa types available:

Tourist Visa (Single Entry, 30 or 60 days) – For leisure travel.
Business Visa – For short-term business visits.
Easy Visitor eVisa – Available online for eligible nationalities.
Visa on Arrival (VOA) – Available for select countries (check eligibility).

How to Apply for a PNG Visa

Option 1: Apply Online (eVisa) – Recommended

Option 2: Apply at a PNG Embassy/Consulate

Option 3: Visa on Arrival (VOA) – Limited Availability

Available at Port Moresby’s Jacksons International Airport for select nationalities.
NOT available for travelers arriving by sea (cruise ships/yachts must pre-arrange visas).
