1. Visa & Entry Requirements for Papua New Guinea (PNG)

Visa Options for Travelers

Most visitors must obtain a visa before entering Papua New Guinea. There are several visa types available:

How to Apply for a PNG Visa

Option 1: Apply Online (eVisa) – Recommended

Option 3: Visa on Arrival (VOA) – Limited Availability

  • Available at Port Moresby’s Jacksons International Airport for select nationalities.
  • NOT available for travelers arriving by sea (cruise ships/yachts must pre-arrange visas).
